Application Terms

For those wishing to apply for “Okusasaka guide map – Discovering Another Side of Asakusa through Stories” (hereinafter referred to as “this Campaign”) organized by IKIDANE Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”), please carefully read these application terms (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) and apply only if you agree with them. Furthermore, those who have applied for this Campaign shall be deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms shall apply to all relationships and matters concerning this Campaign between the Applicants (hereinafter referred to as “Applicants”) and the Organizer.

Article 2 (Provision of Personal Information)

In applying to this Campaign, if Applicants are required to accurately provide personal information such as their name and address, any instance of providing false, incorrect, or omitted information—whether in whole or in part—may result in exclusion from this Campaign.

Article 3 (Posts and Data Files by Applicants)

Applicants hereby grant to the Organizer and any third party who has succeeded to the Service from the Organizer a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable, and transferable license for the use, reproduction, distribution, creation of derivative works (including translations into other languages), display, and performance of any posts or data files uploaded by them through this Campaign, and further agree not to assert any moral rights.

Article 4 (Prohibited Acts)

In connection with applications for this Campaign, the following acts are prohibited. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Applicant from this Campaign without prior notice if it determines that the Applicant has engaged in any of the following acts:
Any act that interferes with the administration of this Campaign

Any act that violates these Terms
Any act that causes inconvenience, disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to others
Any act of slander or defamation that harms another’s reputation or credibility
Any act that infringes upon another’s copyrights or other intellectual property rights
Any act that infringes upon another’s property, privacy, or rights of publicity
Any act of providing information, advertising, or solicitation for commercial purposes
Any act that violates public order and morals
Any act that violates the terms of use or other regulations of the SNS used for the application
Any other act that the Organizer deems inappropriate

Article 5 (Suspension of the Provision of the Service, etc.)

The Organizer may, without prior notice to Applicants, suspend or cancel this Campaign if it determines that any of the following circumstances exist:

Maintenance, inspection, or updates of the computer systems involved in implementing the Service;
Difficulty in implementing this Campaign due to force majeure, such as earthquakes, lightning, fires, power outages, or natural disasters;
Suspension of computers or communication lines due to an accident;
Interruption or discontinuation of the SNS service used for applications;
Any other circumstance that the Organizer deems makes the implementation of this Campaign difficult.
The Organizer shall not be liable for any disadvantage or damage incurred by Applicants as a result of the suspension or cancellation of this Campaign under the preceding paragraph.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Organizer shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Applicants in connection with this Campaign, except in cases where the Organizer has acted with willful misconduct or gross negligence. Furthermore, the Organizer shall not be liable for any disputes or issues arising between Applicants, or between Applicants and any third party, in connection with this Campaign.

Article 7 (Changes to Campaign Content, etc.)

The Organizer may, without prior notice to Applicants, modify all or part of the content of this Campaign or cancel the provision of the Service. The Organizer shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Applicants as a result thereof.

Article 8 (Amendment of These Terms)

If the Organizer deems it necessary, it may amend these Terms without prior notice to Applicants.

Article 9 (Handling of Personal Information)

The personal information provided in connection with this Campaign will be used solely for the following purposes:

Shipment of prizes to the winners
Communication regarding the above

Furthermore, the personal information provided in connection with this Campaign will not be disclosed or provided to any third party other than subcontractors without the consent of the Applicant.

Article 10 (Notifications or Communications)

Notifications or communications from the Organizer to the Applicants shall be made using the method specified by the Organizer. In the event that such notifications or communications do not reach the Applicants due to an error in the Applicant’s email address or for similar reasons, the Applicant may be deemed ineligible for this Campaign.
